Our Mission
The Black Business Founders Network is committed to empowering and uplifting Black-owned businesses. Our mission is to provide a platform that fosters growth, visibility, and sustainability for Black entrepreneurs through community support, resources, and advocacy.
Our Vision
We envision a thriving community where Black-owned businesses have equal opportunities to succeed and contribute to economic development. We aim to create an ecosystem where these businesses are celebrated, supported, and integral to the broader market.
Our Goals
- Community Engagement and Networking:
- Organise networking events and forums to connect Black entrepreneurs with each other, potential customers, investors, and industry leaders.
- Foster a supportive community where business owners can share experiences, collaborate on projects, and build lasting relationships.
- Education and Empowerment:
- Provide educational workshops, seminars, and training programs focused on essential business skills such as marketing, financial management, leadership, and technology.
- Offer mentorship programs that connect Black entrepreneurs with experienced business leaders who can provide guidance and support.
- Resources and Support:
- Develop a resource hub where members can access vital tools, templates, funding opportunities, and information to support their business operations.
- Provide advisory services, including legal, financial, and strategic planning support, to help businesses navigate challenges and achieve growth.
- Advocacy and Representation:
- Advocate for policies and initiatives that support the growth and sustainability of Black-owned businesses at local, state, and national levels.
- Represent the interests and voices of Black entrepreneurs in discussions with policymakers, industry groups, and other stakeholders.
- Visibility and Market Access:
- Promote Black-owned businesses through marketing campaigns, directories, and community events to increase their visibility and customer base.
- Create opportunities for Black entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services at trade shows, expos, and pop-up markets.
